Erin and Wei’s Joshua Tree Elopement
Erin and Wei’s Joshua Tree elopement was a day that will always be close to my heart. These two had a beautiful vision for their wedding day and a killer sense of style, but what touched me the most was their complete trust in my ability to document it all for them. They hired the videographer I had recommended (which, by the way, is a really smart move since it’s important for your photographer and videographer to have a pre-existing relationship and work well together!) and they even let the two of us choose our shooting locations within Joshua Tree National Park for the ceremony and portraits. We had a blast hanging with them as they got ready at The Joshua Tree House and later on exploring some lesser known ruins in the park after they had said their vows and given hugs all around. There’s something beautiful and magical that happens when relationships are founded on trust and each individual involved is encouraged to grow and thrive in their own unique way. I’m so grateful to have witnessed that magic in Erin and Wei together, and to have been given their trust and allowed to give them my best, as well.
